The Fairfield at Woodland Park East Parking Garage

Located in Herndon, VA, the parking garage is part of the exciting 1.6 million SF Woodland Park East mixed-use development coming to the Herndon Metro Station area thanks to extension of the Silver Line metro. Development of the area includes residential units (apartments and townhomes), offices, open spaces, and retail. Owned by Fairfield Development, LP, the Fairfield at Woodland Park East community features 375 new apartment units wrapping a five-level, 143,000-SF precast garage.

Produced and erected by Shockey Precast, a Metromont Company, the new garage provides 540 parking spaces for apartment residents. The garage includes a partial architectural finish and its precast horizontal ramp walls feature black vinyl coated fence panels, which were installed in Shockey Precast’s production yard and shipped to the jobsite. Precast erection only took two months, starting in February 2020 and finishing in April 2020.
