Located in Fredericksburg, VA, the Winchester Street parking garage is part of the city’s expansion plan to provide much-needed downtown parking for residents and visitors to Fredericksburg’s historic area.
The five-level parking deck provides 321 new parking spaces and features a two-tone thin-brick façade and buff colored cornice with a light acid wash finish that complements the surrounding architecture. The Shockey Precast team produced and erected 80,648 SF of precast concrete for the design-build project, approximately 500 pieces total.
Precast erection began in April 2020 and was completed by the end of May. The Winchester Street parking garage officially opened to the public in October 2020 for paid parking.
