Raymel Hernandez began his career with Shockey Precast as a laborer in the precast beds. He learned a great deal in four months and was offered the opportunity to be part of the testing and commissioning of Shockey Precast’s new laser projection system. Due to his knowledge of software, Raymel was chosen to help deploy the new technology within the company. From there, he learned to design in AutoCAD, a skill that helped him qualify to become a Laser Operator. In just five years with Shockey Precast, Raymel has advanced his career from working as a laborer to Leader of Shockey Precast’s Laser Team. “What I enjoy most about working for Shockey Precast is that every day with my work I help make the work of others easier.”
