Faraday Park West Parking Deck

Designed to serve the new Faraday Park apartment community and mixed-use development in Reston, Virginia, the Faraday Park West parking garage features an amenity deck inclusive of a pool, planters, and a cabana area – all at different levels. The amenity deck was originally designed as CIP concrete with a combination of vertical CIP concrete walls and topping. Working with Bozzuto Construction and the design team, Shockey Precast determined that the entire framing as it pertained to the amenity deck could be redesigned in precast with a tremendous savings to the owner. The resulting three-level, 89,450-SF precast amenity deck was produced and erected by the Winchester, VA plant, and provides residents of the Faraday Park apartment community with a fabulous new pool and cabana area to enjoy.
