For the construction of the University of Maryland’s 17,950-seat Xfinity Center (formerly Comcast Center Arena), The Shockey Precast Group produced 528 pieces of precast, including walls, vomitory walls, flat slabs, double and triple tub units, and single, double, and triple risers. Home of the University of Maryland men’s basketball team, the arena and sports complex also houses the school’s athletic department office and an academic and career development center for University of Maryland athletes. The arena also features a 1,500-seat gymnasium for volleyball, gymnastics, and wrestling competitions.
