Structural Design Engineer
Shockey Precast Group, a leader in the prestressed/precast concrete industry, is currently seeking a Structural Design Engineer for our Winchester, VA facility. Responsibilities include the cost efficient design of precast concrete systems, connections and components. Review and approve drawings developed from designs. Coordinate with Project Engineers and Drafters to facilitate successful completion of projects. Support manufacturing plant and field operations through communication and field inspections. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a concentration in Structures and two years work experience required.       EOE    M/F/H/V

Engineering Project Manager
Shockey Precast Group, a leader in the prestressed/precast concrete industry, has an immediate need for an Engineering Project Manager (EPM). The EPM will be charged with the direct responsibility of ensuring the drafting & engineering process of a project is completed efficiently and completely. The EPM may also complete some duties typically handled by the Project Manager. In terms of the project team the EPM will have ultimate authority.

AutoCad Operator
Shockey Precast Group is in need of an Auto-CAD operator. The Auto-CAD operator is responsible for producing detailed construction drawings and piece details for prestressed/precast concrete building components. The primary duty is to draw complete and correct shop tickets to include (but not limited to) the piece geometry, reinforcing layout from the engineer’s design, lifting and handling information, weight and cubic yards of concrete, and finishes. May also be required to draw plate details.

Shockey Precast Group is accepting applications for laborers in our precast concrete manufacturing facility. Must be able to work any shift and unscheduled overtime as needed. Previous construction experience preferred but not required. Must be able to lift 50 – 100 pounds. Starting pay $14.30 per hour. Full benefit package after 90 days of employment. Overtime is paid after 8 hours per day.
